The Jinfan Chinese Orchestra of the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University performed the concert "Pure Voice and Hua Rhyme" at the United Nations Palais des Nations

At the invitation of the Chinese Mission to the United Nations, the UNESCO Chinese Language Club and the Reception Center of Geneva, Switzerland,To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Beijing Students' Jinfan Art Troupe and the 10th anniversary of Tsinghua Jinfan Chinese Orchestra,Tsinghua High School Affiliated Jinfan Folk Orchestra with 59 members,Led by Vice President Du Yuzhen, Vice President Shi Ping, Director Xin Ying, Director Hu Jun and Teacher Chen Ke,On January 23, 2012 (the first day of the first month of the Chinese Year of the Dragon),At Palais des Nations CH 1211 Geneva 10, United Nations European Headquarters, Geneva,For the officials and staff of various countries stationed in the United Nations, he performed a special ethnic concert called "Qingyin Hua Yun",It shows the wonderful Chinese folk music。It was the first concert by the Chinese Middle School Students' National Orchestra in a UN institution since 1945。

At 18:00 local time, Counselor Yu of the Mission of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations, Ms. Cui Ying of the Chinese Book Club and Vice President Du respectively delivered speeches on stage. In their speeches, Vice President Du introduced the development of the Attached High School Chinese Orchestra and the features of the concert to more than 300 international audiences。

The concert part has officially begun,First of all, teacher Hu Jun conducted the orchestra to play the happy and festive wind and percussion music "Dragon Teng Tiger Leap".,The theme of the music is the Chinese totem "dragon",Highlights the coming of the Year of the Dragon,The joyful mood and lively festive atmosphere of the people throughout the country,Liu Xinzhu's drum SOLO and the students' superb playing skills won the audience's applause。

The subsequent performance was divided into three parts: "Orchid and ancient rhyme", "Overseas Transmission" and "Overseas transmission". According to the chronological order of the music, the audience drew a "map of the development of Chinese folk music".。

The first part, "Orchid and Ancient Rhyme", showcases the traditional Chinese ancient music culture and the best Chinese "intangible cultural heritage".。期间,Guqin player Sui Zijun and her orchestra performed the famous song "Flowing Water" with a history of 2000 years.,To show the audience the Chinese guqin art with a history of 4,500 years;Xie Yimin sang Guan Shanyue, a famous piano song with a history of 1000 years.,The desolate and distant singing seemed to bring us to the border town of the Tang Dynasty;Both Chen and Tian Shenshen were accompanied by the orchestra,Excerpts from the 600-year-old Kunqu opera "Peony Pavilion" were displayed for audiences from all over the world。The orchestra also played a piece of music with special significance, "Spring comes early Everywhere in the Motherland", specially arranged by Hu Jun for this performance.,The music is based on the famous song "Jubilant",It is accompanied by Uygur, Tibetan and Mongolian folk songs,Beautiful melody and cheerful rhythm,For everyone to show the spring to lead,The land of the motherland everywhere prosperity, the great unity of all nationalities, a warm scene of celebrating the festival。

Part II "Overseas Voice Transmission",Mainly for the audience to show 100 years,The fusion of Chinese music and foreign culture,The song Chardash, composed by Hu Jun, showcases the combination of traditional Chinese and Western music,Yuan Huanjie and Hu Yan played solo bass on Gao Hu and Gao Hu respectively,The "dialogue" between Gaohu, the smallest Chinese stringed instrument, and double bass, the largest western instrument in the Chinese orchestra,And pushed the concert to a little climax,Duan Yingxuan, the former Gaohu player of the orchestra, also came from her current school in Switzerland,Cooperated with the Lingnan famous song "Bubugao"。

In the third part, "Hua Yue Praises the Motherland",Orchestra students under the baton of Mr. Chen Ke,With Mr. Yuan Huanjie as soloist, the orchestra performed the Great Wall's Rhapsody, which was conceived 30 years ago by Mr. Liu Wenjin, a famous composer and conductor, and the Yao Nationality Dance, a classic Chinese music of the 20th century.,Won the audience from all over the world sustained applause。

After the concert, UN officials took the stage to congratulate the concert on its success, and many audience members took photos with the performers and asked to buy CDS and DVDS of the orchestra's performances。

Tsinghua Affiliated High School Chinese Orchestra was founded in 2002. At the beginning of its establishment, the orchestra took "inheriting folk music and maintaining cultural security" as its top priority. In the past few years, the orchestra has organized more than 30 special performances such as community and foreign visits, showing China's traditional music culture to nearly 40,000 listeners。The orchestra specially arranged the concert on the special day of the first day of the Dragon Year, in order to show the take-off of the Chinese dragon and the pride of the Chinese people。President Wang Dianjun, the head of the orchestra, and Vice President Du Yuzhen, the deputy head of the orchestra, also attached great importance to the orchestra's appearance at the United Nations, arranging work in person for many times and asking about the implementation of the performance。At the same time, the concert also received strong support from students and parents。
